Theater of War Productions Presents 鈥淗ector, Andromache, and the Death of Astyanax鈥 at 澳门二分彩
Theater of War Productions will present 鈥淗ector, Andromache, and the Death of Astyanax鈥濃攆eaturing live, dramatic readings of selections from Homer鈥檚 Iliad, Book VI and scenes from The Trojan Women by Euripides鈥攐n Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. This will be a signature event for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences鈥 Augustine and Culture Seminar program.
The Venerable Lama Losang Samten to Create Tibetan Mandala at 澳门二分彩
The Venerable Lama Losang Samten will visit 澳门二分彩 Sept. 9 鈥 13, 2024, to create a sand mandala, a Tibetan Buddhist tool for meditation and contemplation. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences presents the weeklong event in partnership with the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, which will host the installation in the Driscoll Hall Atrium.
Villanova Research Team Discovers Evidence of Neptune's Rings in 1980s
Thirty-five years ago, Voyager 2 confirmed the existence of Neptune's rings. Years prior, Villanova researchers Ed Guinan, PhD, '64 CLAS and Frank Maloney, PhD, first discovered the evidence.
Computing Sciences Professor Awarded Grant from US Department of Agriculture
Venkata Siva Kumar Margapuri, PhD, associate professor of Computing Sciences has been awarded a three-year, $749,086 grant by the聽U.S. Department of Agriculture鈥檚聽National Institute of Food and Agriculture to utilize artificial intelligence tools to study the abundance of Bombus species, their relationship with wild flora and factors that affect pollinator health.
